Yes it was really nice to visit the parents because I have not visited them since Christmas 2005 and I hadn't seen them since June 2006. I think that they were happy to see their son who is growing into a big boy.... We talked much about mortgages, my job, life in Guildford etc. It was also good that I could taste something home made - especially a roast turkey and an english apple pie.
